When I was teaching, I used to do something called Drop Everything And Read (DEAR). Throughout the day, we would stop whatever it was we were working on and just read. I am trying to incorporate this into my day with Gracie and Madelyn. I LOVE going to the library and hope the girls will enjoy it as much as me as they grow up. Gracie loves to go there and play. Madelyn loves to try to pull all the books off the shelves. I have decided to incorporate a list of our favorite books or books we are reading at the end of every week. Jim makes fun of the fact that the books I want for my collection are children's books. I would rather read a children's book over an adult book any day of the week! And I don't care who knows it.
