Gracie, in a very whiny and concerned voice: "No, don't do that because then I won't get my birthday cake."

Me, a little confused: "We're not taking your birthday off the calendar. Daddy's just going to take the day off from work so he can be with us on your birthday."

Gracie: "Oh. Then, I would like that."
