*watching Gracie help Madelyn take off her coat in a very sweet way
*reading to Madelyn on the couch without her squirming too much
*Gracie calling the puppy chow we were eating chubby pow instead
*all of us cuddling in bed early in the morning while it was still cold and dark outside--yes, it was cold in Arizona that morning!
*bopping to music while we ate lunch
*all of us snuggling on the couch under a blanket watching TV--this lasted for about 2 minutes before Madelyn lost interesst
*watching Madelyn (our furniture mover) drag the little highchair all the way from Gracie's room out to the kitchen and then feed a baby doll
*Gracie's enthusiasm and zest for the day (even when she was up all night long bothering us)
Thoughts, quotes, and poems on raising and homeschooling 3 little women. Ephesians 2: 8-10--For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. *watching her pick up all the bugs for the boys on our camping trip because they were too afraid
*Gracie leading Madelyn by Lily's leash in the backyard
*Jim getting Madelyn to stop crying in the car by "woofing" at her. She can't help but "woof " back!
*playing peek-a-boo with the girls and hearing Madelyn say "boo"
*looking into Madelyn's bright blue eyes while I fed her lunch and realizing that I have two very beautiful girls!
*Madelyn being so proud to help unpack after our camping trip and feed Lily
*watching Madelyn walk into the room with the potty seat on her arm like a purse
*Gracie asking, "Can we see God?" and Jim coming up with a very good answer
*Gracie: "What does wear you out mean?" Me: "It means make you tired." Gracie: "Well, I'm trying to wear you out." Me: "It's working!"

Update
I have been writing my favorite moments with the girls in their individual notebooks that I keep for them. I think it is more special this way, and it is written in my own handwriting, not the computer's. I am trying to decide whether I should close this blog or continue to write some favorite moments here once in a while...
